HEY EVERYONE! THIS IS VANESSA ANNE HUDGENS.WELCOME TO MY BLOG! I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND ENJOY CHECKING OUT MY BLOG.I was born in Salinas, California and grew up in San Diego; I have a younger sister, Stella Hudgens, an aspiring actress. My dad father, Greg Hudgens, is of Irish and Native American descent and my mother, Gina Guangco, is a Filipino of Chinese and Spanish descent.[3] All of my grandparents were musicians during the Big Band period. Starting at the age of eight, I performed in musical theatre as a singer, and appeared in local productions of Evita, Carousel, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I, The Music Man, and Cinderella, among others. I successfully auditioned for a commercial and subsequently moved to Los Angeles with my family.I recently filmed the official video for my next single to be released Say OK.A concert version of the video, filmed during the High School Musical: The Concert tour has already been released to Disney Channel. Over summer vacation, the East High Wildcats are ready to enjoy their vacation and earn some money at summer jobs. Troy Bolton lands a job at the country club, Lava Springs, not knowing that his job is a part of Sharpay's plan to steal him from Gabriella. Accidentally foiling Sharpay's plot, Troy not only helps Gabriella get a job as a lifeguard, but also lands jobs for Chad, Taylor, Zeke, Martha, Kelsi, Jason and the rest of his Wildcat pals. Making it worse, Sharpay finds out Kelsi has written a duet for Troy and Gabriella that's sure to outperform everyone at the club's annual Midsummer Night's Talent Show. Reminded of her humiliation over the winter musical, Sharpay is determined not to suffer a repeat and forms her own campaign to make sure she's not upstaged again. As they go head to head, Troy is enjoying the life of the privileged set, and begins to question what he's willing to give up for what he thinks he wants. Before rehearsal began, Disney's High School Musical site put up a poll for what the viewers want to see in High School Musical 2. In early February, 2007, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Anne Hudgens were reported to be holding out for a more lucrative contract. Disney Channel representatives claimed rehearsals would begin on schedule, and by February 19th, the entire cast was on set and rehearsing in St. George and Salt Lake City, Utah. The cast wrapped up filming on April 13, 2007 and have since returned home. Part of the movie will be set at a baseball game, instead of the original's basketball setting, and Miley Cyrus will have a cameo as Hannah Montana in the movie[citation needed]. It is unknown which song from the soundtrack she will sing, if the TV show will plug the movie in the second season, nor if any episodes will take place in Albuquerque, where the movie takes place. In the first released trailer, the main cast is shown counting down the seconds until summer break. In a teaser, the trailer asks "Are you ready... for the start of something new?" before showing the High School Musical 2 logo along with the Disney Channel logo. An ad campaign, asking viewers to email their friends about the site to reveal a new poster, was also shown. What Time Is It?, the first song in the movie, took three days to shoot and 200 extras, most of whom were handpicked Utah residents. Not only did the 17-year-old star in the movie, High School Musical, which inspired a cult-like following, and not to mention a ..1 selling soundtrack, but she also released her debut solo album, V, on September 26. ..I am crazy excited,.. Originally wanting to make a dance album, Vanessa opted for a mix (the ..V.. also stands for variety) of pop, rock, electronic and R&B. ..The songs were already there,.. Vanessa says. ..So I just went with the flow... The songs spoke to Vanessa. Her first single, ..Come Back to Me.. deals with relationships and the one that got away. ..Whatever Will Be.. is about living in the now. ..It..s the definition of me because that..s my motto,.. The first time she heard ..Afraid,.. she ..fell in love with.. the idea of being apprehensive of becoming involved in another relationship, especially if one has been hurt in the past. ..Promise.. reminds the listener that it..s okay (no, really okay) to be yourself and if someone doesn..t like it well then, too bad. ..I figured my first album I..ll leave to the professionals,.. Vanessa says of hopefully writing another album. ..Once I know the process, I..ll get my creative juices flowing,.. It shouldn..t be too hard considering Vanessa is already a pro in the world of musical theater.
